A group of citizens representing Monroe County came to speak. Organized in large part by the Pocono Record, they brought attention to the representation problems Monroe County has experienced for decades as a result of gerrymandering.  Monroe currently is divided into 6 Senate and 4 House districts, as can be seen in the graphic below (credit Pocono Record).

Representatives from Latino Lines brought graphics to the hearing to show how current districts deprive Latino communities of invigorating representation.
